Kipps Grapes is a small family owned and operated pick-your-own (PYO) fruit business in Rochelle, Va., just off Rt. 29 in the heart of scenic Madison County. We've been open in the late summer since the 1970s. Grapes are our primary crop. We have a limited amount of apples and peaches. Generally, grapes can be expected from early August until early September, however, the weather greatly affects ripening times and availability, so contact us before coming from a distance. In 2013, we began selling jams, jellies and sauces made from our fruit. They are available on site and in other markets.

Whether you pick or come for jellies, you can enjoy the soothing views of surrounding pastures, croplands and the Blue Ridge Mountains. Kipps Grapes is a comfortable day trip from Northern Virginia, Richmond, Charlottesville, and Fredericksburg.
